Let’s face, when it comes to Europe and the United States things aren’t going very well.
Every so often the President of the United States threatens to leave NATO.
Would that be a good thing for Europe? Wouldn’t they spend more of their own money? Would they thenbuy less hardware from the United States and spend more on themselves.
Would they then be on less of a guilt trip from the U.S.?
The big question is would Europe be a safer place or would a clash of NATO nations and Russia be more likely?

Steve’s Barking; What’s wrong with Russia
Why is it in Russia isn’t competing with China and the United States as an economic supper power.
They have the resources (natural) and the brain power ( there programmers are as good as anyone’s without the computer time that American programmers have)?
Why aren’t their supermarkets filed with goodies?
Why did I read about their pensioners pensions being reduced as I read not so long ago?
Maybe the leadership should steal secrets of supermarkets and hot house farming from the west.
Maybe they could try internal currency if they produced what they needed most.
If Russia became a economic superpower it would benefit the world?
That’s my rant for the day.

Steve’s Barking; President promises we will not be a socialist country like Venezuela
The President promised the American people that we will not be a socialist country like Venezuela, but he didn’t promise we will not be a total capitalist country like Haiti.
Look at the economic growth in the last two years in the USA, the world hasn’t seen anything like it since Brazil’s economic miracle .

Steve’s Barking; Is race really race? (Racism)
Modern day ( meaning 20th century and later ) seem to think in the terms of Caucasian, Negro, and Asian as the only races there are. But I’ve been reading About how the English called the Irish an inferior race. How in America we tried to keep the Poles another Slavic people out because we called them an inferior race.
The Japanese at one time called the Chinese an inferior race.
Now let look at the cast system in India would you not call that a form of racism.
The Chinese and the Vietnamese, the Vietnamese being inferior.
Didn’t the Arabs at one time feel that the Southern Africans were different and inferior?
Didn’t Different tribes in Africa feel that other tribes were inferior.
Even today there is talk of Jews not as being part of a religion but of a race of people.
My feeling is race is s just part of a tribal system that started at the dawn of man. Inter sexual relations within the tribes.
But what do I know, I’m not an anthropologist.
