Steve’s Barking; Panic in the nations ( Omnicrom Covid 19)

Covid omnicrom the new Covid variant has brought about panic πŸ™€. Oh my say the health care national health care organizations, it had more spikes then previous covid 19s. It might be highly contagious 😷.
It got to be worse then any other Covid variant. In the mean time no one who has this variant had been hospitalized. So far less the  πŸ’― persons have caught this variant so far. The South African doctor πŸ‘¨‍⚕️who discovered this variant reclaimed while it looks dangerous, it’s a very mild form of Covid 19. Would it be a kick in the head if omnicrom is the natural immunity for the deadly forms of Covid 19!

Steve’s Barking; The trouble πŸ‘Ώ with Build Back Better and infrastructure legislation

The trouble 😈 with infrastructure and Build Back Better isn’t the cost  though the nervous Nellies would have you believe that the problem.   Nooo the real problem is we don’t have the workers. These jobs require skilled and semi skilled workers. The United States for some reason doesn’t have enough people to over see the laying of concrete ( I know that there are many who will claim just  how hard can you be?).  I do not  see the amount of engineers  and designers  (architects) that can build the amount of bridges that need to be built.  We’re are we going to get the teachers to teach pre k? What about the trusted persons to mind the children πŸ‘Ά. Do we have enough persons?

* I know that the labor statistics claim the United States has a 5% unemployment rate ( I’m not sure πŸ€” that can be trusted). I also know that there is a disconnect because there aren’t enough people willing to work at the jobs now.
** Perhaps πŸ€” the underground economy is thriving ( I haven’t heard that in a long while).
In conclusion, my gut is telling me that the magic pen πŸ–Š might just not work and the secret 🀐 ingredient is more workers.

Steve’s Barking; The Rittenhouse problem

The problem with the verdict in the Rittenhouse case isn’t “white supremacy” it’s senile old judges.
What no denying what happen, a 17 year old white guy went to an out of his state place carrying a gun that is illegal to own and cary across state lines. Of cause the judge dismissed this charge.
Rittenhouse  said he was protecting a store that the store owner said he didn’t want any protection.
Rittenhouse preceded to walk down the street were he shot three people, two fatally and one seriously wounded. Rittenhouse claimed self defense, though I didn’t read in the paper that any of the victims were armed, even with a knife. Now the judge in this case has as in almost any case great leeway in charging the jury, it appears that in this case judge senile charged the jury to almost telling the jury to acquit.
My own personal opinion Rittenhouse was not guilty for reason of insanity.
Rittenhouse had no moral compass and I’m also wondering about the judge.
One of the major problem is the selection of judges and how much discretionary power they have.

Steve’s Barking; What will happen if the supply chain becomes unclogged πŸ€”

Every one and then some knows that the supply chain is bogged down. Every one with half a 🧠 understands that supply of goods are on the short side. Now the goods that have been manufactured have got to be paid for ( I’m pretty sure that I’m correct on that). Because they have to be paid for the price of said goods that are waiting to be shipped all over America, because the demand side is there the sellers of the manufactured goods can and must raise the price πŸ’°πŸ‘†of the goods. Oh the ugly head πŸ€ͺ of inflation shows up. Now what happens if by some miracle in the next several months the supply ⛓ be comes unclogged. The goods that have been waiting to be delivered are suddenly delivered 🚚. πŸ€” Suddenly there are too many goods on πŸ–. I guess that many a-manufactured good will have to go on 🧾 sale. Would that mean that said manufactured good would be part of a deflationary trend?
 * Would many a retailer go out of business if the cost of borrowing rise too much and the price of goods most go πŸ‘‡because the demand isn’t as very πŸ’ͺ any more.
** I really don’t profess to 🀷 know what will happen if the supply chain would end after the holidayπŸŽ‰πŸŽ„πŸŽ season? It’s anyone’s guess if the supply chain be comes untangle and there’s a surplus of goods.
It’s the one thing that nobody seems to be πŸ€” about but it could be a problem.

Steve’s Barking; The great resignations ……… of the 70s

He the shame of it, people today are actually quitting there jobs.
Of cause the know nothing analysts have many reasons why!
Now let me tell you a story of an army vet (me) who found himself working in a bank and said oh crap, I want to see the world some more so he got up and left and spent 6 months on a kibbutz. Found that I wasn’t that unusual, many of my peers  did the same thing. But after a while I decided to go back to the states and earn a degree. While earning a degree and working at night I got the urge to live in England, another not that unusual occurrence. Came back to the state , went to school and worked for the state of New York. I stayed with the state while many of my co -works just got up and left.
No the great resignation of 20-21 is not new. The reasons may be new, though I doubt it, everybody has a different reason in the 70s and I’m sure there are many reasons to leave a job today.

Steve’s Barking; My racist mouth

 I call a spade a spade!

I say that’s like the pot calling the kettle black!

Innocuous as these phrases are they can be considered racist!

Steve’s Barking; A well regulated militia(2nd amendment to the United States Constitution

Why oh why did the writers of the U.S. constitution put the in the second amendment “A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state” The right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed. A reasonable person would ask the question why put into the amendment anything about a well regulated militia if the writer(s) of the second amendment wanted any Tom, Dick, and Harriet to have weapons. Why not just say so.
Unfortunately despite giving out degrees from prestigious universities we seem to know so little about our history.
I can pretty much guess accurately that most of Americans do not know of Shay’s rebellion and that the militia had to break into the Armory to get guns.
Now I’m pretty sure that the founding fathers of the United States knew about Cromwell and he had his Army well armed keeping the populous under his thumb. Ya think that why there might have been among the among the early leaders of America that they had a healthy distrust of a large standing army that was heavily armed.
Ya think that maybe the second amendment to the constitution was a compromise to protect the nation while not having a large heavily armed standard army.

*** We have had gun control in America for years. Tommy guns were all but outlawed in the United States by having huge licenses on owning a Tommy gun. In the western towns there were ordinances against carrying guns in town ( in the Western movies when the marshal or the sherif asks the cowboys to turn in their guns.it was based on actual ordinances).

***I would think that it would be a good idea if supreme court justices hired law clerks who were English majors and history majors when getting their Bachelor degrees.
