Steve’s Barking; Thr price of oil should go up , maybe maybe not🤷‍♂️

 OPEC said that they are cutting production of oil. China is back after Covid lock down. India is gearing up for larger industrial 🏭 production, and the West is all but boycotting Russian oil. Oh did I forget to mention that India and China is buying that Russian oil at a discount and they therefore don’t need OPEC oil that much. Hummm do ya think maybe 🤔 just maybe because to big oil markets don’t need OPEC oil that much and the US and North Sea oil is still producing the same amount of oil, the price of oil just might not go over the 80 dollar mark!

Steve’s Barking; And they killed Aesop didn’t they?

 Oh my they fired Don Lemon from CNN! They fired Tucker Carlson from FOX News! These two modern fable makers got fired ( the modern day death sentence) from their respective TV networks for pissing off some powerful people. They killed the great story teller Aesop in Ancient Greece because the powers that be didn’t like one of his fables!

I guess I’m lucky, no one reads my my blog but……., and there are too few to even worry about being killed. 

Steve’s Barking; A possible helpful solution to NYC housing crisis 🤷‍♀️

 I been thinking 🤔 there are reports that more and more New Yorkers are leaving New York City in records yet there seems to be less and less housing . WTF 🤬! Perhaps 🤔 it’s retires for tax purposes. I have a crazy 😜 idea, Perhaps 🤔 NYC should have a bureaucracy that matches those who claim they live a an untaxed state for 180 or more days with rent stabilized apartment. The tenant then loses his or her right to rent stabilization. 

 Now another crazy 😜 idea 💡 is those who use there apartment’s for airbnb can only use their apartments for airbnb for less then 30 days with the landlord getting cut 💰of the proceeds. *** I don’t know the legality of airbnb in NYC. It just an idea 💡 I pulled out of my **s. 

 **** No way will these idea 💡 end the housing crisis in my beloved city 🏙️ but it just might help a little.

Steve's Barking; The big squeeze in New York City's rent stabilized apartments

 The owners of rent stabilized apartments in NYC in most cases can't afford the upkeep on their buildings  because of humongous inflation unless they have fantastic rent increases. The problem with rent increases is that too many of the tenants can barely pay the rents they are paying now. The city and the state can help this situation by rent and or building subsidies but unfortunately neither the state nor the city has the ability (money) to subsidies neither the landlords nor tenants. It's just a bad situations that this blogger has no answer for!

Steve’s Barking; Is race and racism real or is it just a form of tribalism?

 This is a very hard post for me to write, for I’m going against all conventional wisdom!

 My observation is that the conventional wisdom on race is not strictly by the color of one’s skin but more on the tribe one comes from! Think of the Nazis calling the Jews and Slavs inferior races. Thing of the Japanese call person of Chinese descent inferior by reason of race. ( Think of Japan in the present day not letting foreigners settle in Japan even though they will need foreigners as the population gets older. As far as skin color look,to Europe, as one goes father south in Europe the general pigment of the skin tends to get darker. Take a look at Africa the pigment of the indigenous people of the is lighter then the indigenous people of the central parts of Africa. This also seems to be true of the southern part of Africa before the migration of Africans from the middle of Africa. ( The lightness of the Northern and Southern Africans seemed in most cases to predate the Europeans coming to Africa).Africans from different tribes come in all different sizes and shapes. One can look at the Asian continent and draw the same conclusions as the African continent. Even the faces are from one region to the next as this is also true in Europe. It has been noted that this maybe due to the fact of adaptability.

 **Now why would I say that racism is a form of tribalism?

 Human beings tend to form groups that are closely associated with themselves. So that facial features and and pigmentation that are closely aligned forms a tribe. To protect themselves from other tribes these tribes form bigger tribes. As these tribes become larger they become city states and eventually turn into countries. Now these countries often do terrible thing and in order to justify these things they use the physical differences by saying it’s alright these races (tribes) are inferior. Now one can say that the smaller tribes ( sub tribes ) of the main tribe starts believing that those who look different then there members are subhuman. This goes down to the individual members of the tribe. They don’t want to mix with those of what they consider an  inferior tribe( race ) and in many a case even force the larger  tribe to treat the different looking persons of the other tribes as inferior including denying work and a place to live near them. 

 Tribes tend to have different cultural background that co-mingle  when tribes come together.

***** This is just a theory of mine that I got through observation.

Steve’s Barking; Bad behavior by powerful Countries blame United States

 Russia, China, North Korea, and other aggressive countries are blaming the United States. After all didn’t the U.S. force out the Duly elected Prime Minister of Iran, play sing sure enjoyed your of the duly elected Prime Minister of Iran, play, placing the Sha in charge of the country. Didn’t the  United States use a terrible excuse of we were attacked by North Vietnam in the Gulf of Tonkin to go full throttle into Vietnam. And didn’t we use the flimsiest excuse to go into Iraq, and dispose of the dictator Husain. When these aggressive countries use there aggressive behavior and the United States objects they point there finger at us and say we’re just Copying you.
