US President 45 show’s secret 🀫 papers to anybody in the room.
Russia’s πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί private military marched on Moscow.
What next? The Peoples Republic of China πŸ‡¨πŸ‡³ declares it’s no longer a communist state!

Steve’s Barking; Will the U.S. head the way of Zimbabwe?

What the hellπŸ‘Ή ? Well to put it  this way Robert Mugabe saw that the whites in his country had most of the good farm  land. Now this wasn’t fair after after all the whites in Zimbabwe were interlopers who took the land from the native country tribes. Sooo, he in his wisdom decided to take over the fertile farmland and give it back to the original people. Now getting on with this story Zimbabwe was self sufficient. It was so self sufficient that it was known as the bread, basket of Africa. Now getting on with this story, the new farmers didn’t do a very good job at farming, in fact they were so bad at farming they couldn’t feed the people of people of Zimbabwe. Hmmm πŸ€” what happens when the “needs”of the people aren’t met.My interpretation is that that you get run away inflation. So there you have it in a nutshell just giving something that’s may be  justifiable correct can do unbelievable harm to those who should be the beneficiaries of what should be benefiting the most………………………………………………………….

Now wtf 😳 has this morality  tale have anything to do with the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ? Well there is talk ( or in some cases more then talk) of reparations for the descendants of African slaves. Now on the surface there is nothing wrong πŸ˜‘ with this, except that the giving of money πŸ’° for restitution for descendants of an evil πŸ‘Ώ that happened over 150 years ago is not a sound economic idea πŸ’‘. In fact it’s a terrible 😣 idea πŸ’‘. (1) It doesn’t add any value of goods and services. ( 2) Because it doesn’t add any value to goods and service. (3) The flooding of money πŸ’° into the economy would be highly inflationary. (4) The resentment of the rest of country very possible turn the economy into a barter system or worse were the American dollar πŸ’΅ would not buy anything but bitcoin type of currency or even a foreign currency would be used.(Long live the Yuen).

***I’m one who believes that printing money πŸ’° by the Fed isn’t necessarily inflationary as long as goods and services is being produced. Giving money πŸ’° were the is no additional value or additional value in the future is a bad idea πŸ‘Ž in my simplistic opinion.

Steve’s Barking; Why doesn’t businesses pay FICA? πŸ˜‰

 This is an American  story.

According to the Supreme Court, a company is a person, as if all the judges went to business school. Now, if a business is a person, they should pay FICA taxes just like every person who has a job in this country pays FICA. If a company is like a person and  can have freedom of speech then they must pay their FICA tax as if they were self employed. πŸ˜‰

I’m only partially serious, just making fun of citizens United.🀣

Steve’s Barking; Who built America?

There seems to be a discussion that slaves from Africa built America πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ.
Hmmm. I was under the impression that greedy ba###ds built America πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ . Of course they had help from the poor, unfortunate souls who volunteered to come to America πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ to escape their miserable 😩 conditions were ever the hell they came from. Weather it was from Western Europe or Eastern Europe, Asia or even free Africans from Africa.
Now of cause after the the war between the state many of the freed African Americans went to other parts of the country applying some of the crafts they had learned while they were in bondage. Why it is even estimated that one third of American cowboys were black.
Just as those Europeans some of those who came from bondage showed that great 😊 American πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ trait, greed. Helping to build America the old fashion way with greed. Some of those ex slaves help build America with imagination inventing things like  stop lights 🚦and helping those greedy entrepreneurs like Edison.
Hmmm πŸ€” my impression that those greedy bastards like the Astors and Rockefellers plus the foreign greedy persons the Carnegies were the most important personages that helped build America πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ into that greedy country that it is today paving way for those new greedy person, Jobs, Bezos and that really greedy foreigner Musk.

* One can make the case that those greedy slave holders held back the south’s industrialization….

Steve’s Barking;Composting in New York City, the devils😈 in the details

As read by me, New York City by the end of next year will demand that separation of food stuff from the rest of the garbage. There will be separate bins for food stuff, plastic and regular garbage. These bins will be on the curbs in the street. So far s good. Now what I haven’t read is when I separate the food garbage for compost in my apartment and for those own a home do we put it n a special plastic bag or do we have a bin in our homes. If you live in an apartment will there be a special place for these food particles to be stored. And it’s especially daunting, how do we keep the vermin, the mice and the rats from being attracted to the thrown out food?

Steve’s Barking; The luck of Tesla πŸ€

Tesla the car company just caught the greatest luck πŸ€any car company could possibly have. First the government is giving it seven billionπŸ’° dollars to open up its charging  πŸ”Œ⛽️station to all. Then oh my goodness Ford and GM is paying Tesla to open up its charging πŸ”Œ⛽️stations to their EVS ( something I really don’t get if the government is paying Tesla to open up its charging station to all) there by allowing Tesla to under price other car companies for its electric vehicles and still make a profit. Will wonders never cease.

Steve’s Barking; To bring equity to NYC schools you need inequality

Oh no, not again. Stuyvesant high school is again in equity with so few black and Latino students coming into the incoming class. Now I’m saying that we of New York City should not look at the immediate future. Stop trying to integrate greater numbers, black, and Latino students into the elite high schools next year or in the next 5 to 10 years. We have to train all the students to be able to pass the stringent entrance exams that the schools require. The way to do this is by not having all school districts in New York City get the same amount of money. We should use much of our monetary resources for tutoring those who want the tutoring. We cannot, in all likelihood tutor, every student who wants it. We can tutor on a select basis of income. How do you even that might not be equal. There might be more students or at least their parents who want their child to be tutored. Because we of New York City have a finite budget, we cannot tutor all those who are deserving of tutoring. We might just have to have a lottery for tutoring. Now part of the tutoring would be how to take entrance exams for select high schools. Hopefully, in less than five years, this would bring equality to elite schools, where the percentage of black and Latino students would equal to the percentage of the population that they represent in the city school system. The New York City school system cannot continue. It’s foolish chasing of integration of the city school system by legislation. This has been one of the biggest failures that the city school system has been doing for over 60 years. This is what is known as insanity, doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting different results.

The purpose of any school system is to teach and bring out the best in the students. Now I’m not naΓ―ve enough to believe that every student is going to achieve an education that brings out the best of their ability.  I do believe that in order to achieve a higher level of equity in the school system we have to treat students on an unequal footing. Giving more emphasis to those who are from a depressed household.

The Tudors would if they have student debt, the city, and possibly the federal government would help relieve that debt.
