Steve’s Barking; He kept Us out of war, I heard that before

I hear from Trump supporters, we did have any wars when the Donald was president (after all Afghanistan was previous presidents and didn’t he negotiate a way out ?)
In American history didn’t President win a second term by saying he kept us out of war and early in his second term we were at war.

Steve’s Barking: If stocks go up, so should Bonds?

If the stock on the index’s go up, so should bonds go up!!!!
This is the logic of my crazy mind.
First of all the yields of the bonds aren’t going, it the cost of the bonds that is going up. Right.
The money that is buying stock has to come from some where , right!
The owner of the bonds sell them to buy stocks to make more money, I’m guessing.
This seems to be a classic example of supply and demand.
Big demand for stock the price goes up. The less demand for bonds, the buyers I would assume would ask for a premium to buy bonds. Classic economics or it should be.

Steve’s Barking; Should we ban peanuts πŸ₯œ ?

 Should we ban peanuts?
πŸ₯œ Peanuts are one of the  most nutritious foods out there!
Less than 1% of the population is extremely allergic to peanuts.
 So should we ban peanuts?

There are those out there who would ban vaccinations because a small fraction of those who take  the vaccines have a bad reaction to them, so are those who demand the various vaccines be band believe that we should ban peanuts?

Steve’s Barking: Screwy real ID in the US

To get a real id in the US one needs to prove they have a Social security number. To prove this you need a Social Security card or a recent paystub with your Social Security number on it, which pay Stubbs don’t provide full social security numbers any more and most of U.S. citizens hide and can’t find because we don’t want identity theft. So I guess the government doesn’t want a large minority traveling by air.

Steve’s Barking: The more you know, the less you knows

The more that one knows, the less one knows. How is that possible?? Well if one is inquisitive and you question what you have just found out, you will have to realize that you there is more out there and if you are doing your research you will realize that there is more to your question. If you’re really inquisitive you should realize that there’s more out there then what you have realized and a smart person would realize how little they knew about what they thought they knew. This holds true for science, economics and especially history, it may even be true in math(?).

Steve’s Barking; The end of The United States being a supper power part 2

The end of World War  II the United States became a superpower, manly because it was not touched by war destroying its factories. Whether it wanted to, or not the dollar became the wold currency. The world looked to the U S as we overspent(?) on our military hurting the adversaries by forcing them to spend too much to keep up with the United States.

Ah but now we have people in power who actually think that cheapening the dollar is good for America? They feel that spending less for the military is an outstanding idea after all America wastes billions on billions of dollars on military spending.

The buying of goods and services in the United States is rather inexpensive compared to the rest of the world. ( Well most services anyway). We now have people who will be in charge who think that it’s an outstanding idea not to have competition with the rest of the world, that in all probability will put the United States populous on par or worse in a lot the rest of the world in affordability of goods.

*Gee I hope I’m an idiot!

* Another hard to understand blog from Steve’s Barking

Steve’s Barking; Money corrupts in politics !

I keep hearing how money corrupts politics, from the same people who got a billion dollars in one month, which was 2/3 more then the other side got all together.
I here that the spending by political action committees swing election, taken from someone (me) who was in the district that the most money ever on a primary it didn’t swing the election, in fact my neighbors were pissed at all the junk mail that they received. After all there is a thing in economics called the law of diminishing returns. It’s more than diminishing returns, money may even have a negative effect.
I for one have a hard time liking the party of my choice with all their request for money, and much of those request are down right insulting. I see by several comedians that they too are bombarded with request for money.too and they also are upset(?) by the request for money.
My former congresswomen ( she was gerrymandered out) keeps complaining and asking for money because  that the other party is getting millions to fight her, while she has and spend 1/3 more then her political opponents in the other party.
Me, I don’t buy the stories about money in politics. So sue me!

Steve’s barking; The strange case of the murder of United healthcare CEO

I don’t know about anybody who’s reading this blog how they feel of the murder of Brian Thompson the CEO of United healthcare. Very strange, indeed that the accused killer Luigi Mangione  of United Healthcare CEO knew what hotel Brian Thompson was staying at and that he would be walking to the conference at 6:45 in the morning. And as he was walking by alone, Mr. Mangione knew it was him even though at 6:45 in the morning in New York City it’s kind of dark.
Now it appears that Mr. Mangione is brilliant but just have brilliant can a person be that he can know when the pray would be leaving a hotel to walk to a conference and that ( according to reports) he would cross the street where he did.
According to reports the accused gunman had a bad back that put him in excruciating pain ,yet he was able to do climbing in Japan . Now I know when my back is bothering me I have a tough time walking never mind hiking and going uphill. Hmmm.
I’m not saying that the accused gunman Mr. Mangione didn’t shoot Brian Thompson in the leg and in the back, but there are a few bewildering things that have been reported.

Steve’s Barking; The end of America as a superpower 🦸‍♂️

Well, well , well, how can anybody say that the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ can make the claim that the U.S. of A will not be a supper power, after all the U.S. is getting rid of all those deep state deal wood πŸͺ΅ with no nothing bosses. πŸ€” do you think πŸ€” that by hiring some one who knows nothing about the agency’s that they are supposed to run is a good 😊 idea πŸ’‘. Do you really think πŸ’ that no nothings leading agencies such as the department of defense, the FBI and ,the justice department is smart. Oh I forgot intelligence. It’s this crazy πŸ€ͺ blogger that believes that in a years time lawlessness in America πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ will quadruple, we will have to rely on our allies for  intelligence because the moral of those who actually are good πŸ‘πŸΎ at their jobs will be nonexistent if they are still at their jobs. Oh let’s have some one run the defense department that how shall I put this, is antagonistic to the professionals that run the department, kind of like what Putin did for Russia πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί.

Pray πŸ™ for us , or at least pray πŸ™ that I’m a total no nothing idiot.

Steve’s Barking; Let’s plant the seeds of war☠️

Let’s have tariffs, so we can have a trade war.
Oh it may be worse, the countries that lose economical may just maybe be inclined towards be more war ☠️like for they have less to lose. Perhaps πŸ€” they may need military action to keep their populous from revolting.

Steve’s Barking; Two reasons I wouldn’t buy Tesla stock

 2  Reasons I wouldn’t but Tesla stock.
1 It doesn’t pay dividends
2 It’s capitalization is much greater then expected earning in the near future plus worth of the land and plants.

Steve’s Barking; ADP report vs Labor Department for Nov 2024

The jobs reports are in ADP says that the U.S. created 146,000 jobs. The Labor Department said that the U S created 227,000. Who’s right, who’s wrong, who cares!

Steve’s Barking: If the US government was really serious about cutting spending

 πŸ˜„πŸ˜

If the government was really serious about reducing spending the most obvious thing to do is let private enterprise run the space program. They would also eliminate all the subsidies for EV’s, let the private companies fend for themselves like we did in the late 1800s and early 1900s…….

Steve’s Barking; πŸ‘‰ why kamala lost 😠

Oh πŸ’©another stupid dissecting on why the Democrats lost the presidential election.
(1) Old, really old interview where she said that inmates can get sex change operations and the government would pay for it. ( this went over big with the religious Spanish speaking population, plus other religious population).
(2) Trump had an assignation attempt where it made him look like a real tough guy. We Americans ❤️ that.
(3) We American's where sold a bill of goods that illegal aliens were inundating our country bring crime , stealing our jobs, and stealing our hard earned tax dollars, and it was all the fault of the Biden admiration which Kamala was part of.
(4) We Americans where sold a bill of goods how things were so much more affordable when ( no toilet paper) Don was president then now with the Biden administration of which Kamala is part of.
(5) The Republicans party tapped into the anger 😑 of transgender, of which the Democrats had no answers.

************************************************************************************
Fear and loathing is always a good πŸ‘πŸΎ selling point.

No a primary would have been the worst thing for the Democrats it would have brought out the division that in the party πŸŽ‰ that probably would’ve made the defeat worse.
No those who claim that we ignored the working man probably hasn’t had a conversation with the diverse workers in this country and really don’t know what the working person really wants.
The majority of the people have a hard time looking into the future, most of us only know how we feel today,
