Steve’s Barking;What’s wrong with being on the phone at diner

Why do people complain or at least make funny of me and my wife just because were on our cell phone at  the diner.
Like in the old days we all would talk to one another at diner. No one of us would be watching the news during diner after work? Tell me another story.
What’s wrong with my wife playing her games or keeping up with her latest family gossip? At least she’s not screaming at me, telling me what a lousy person I am.
What’s wrong with me keeping up with my teams, and my stocks. At least I’m not calling her names.
You see the cell phone has brought  serenity to my house hold during diner time, even when we are dining out. So all you complainers bug off.

Steve’s Barking; Intrest on US bond keeps falling and can’t get up

Intrest on the U.S. ten year bond has fallen to 2.5%. Why oh why.
All the world must trust the American dollar, and with low interest rate in the rest of the world, the fall of the bond rate is a great deal compared to the rest of the world despite it’s fall.
Is the dollar going to get stronger with no mater what the American government wants the dollar to do?
Maybe the strong dollar is not the best for American manufacturers world wide, but it’s good for borrowers, especially the government.

Steve’s Barking;What Is fair(?) advantage?

There seems to be a scandal of cheating from the rather wealthy to get their children into prestigious universities.  Now isn’t that the way of the world. Don’t we all want to get our children into prestigious universities. Many of us are willing to bend a few rules to get advantages for our children.
That is what parents are suppose to do. Good parents anyway. We are shocked when at  bending of rules. We our really shocked when there is cheating.
Where not shocked at those who make rules that by those who have larceny in their hearts can easily break them.
We of middle income complain about the poor,  how they have advantage of medicaid ( not having to buy healthcare).
We are angry because  that the color of ones skin has the advantage of getting that job.(It’s true,but it works both ways) We complain that it’s highly unfair, but most of us would use it to our advantage.
We use our gender to our advantage, don’t we? So why get riled up because she’s me one has the advantage of money and they cheat. The system(s) are set up for cheating and most of us our wired to do so.

Steve’s Barking; build that wall to keep drugs out

  We have an opioid  epidemic in the United States .
  So let’s build those walls around the pharmaceutical companies to keep those drugs out.

Steve’s Barking; Pickpocket politics

America has turned to pickpocket politics.
Now I don’t mean to say that the  politicians are stealing from the people to line their own
pockets, which maybe true, I’m writing to say the President keeps pointing at his rivals doing this or that wrong, while he is doing the exact same thing only worse just as a pickpocket diverts attention from his picking a pocket by saying look at that b*****d picking the pockets of those  unsuspected  fools.

Steve’s Barking; Giving the devil (Trump) his due!

You can say what you want about the current President of the United States, but if the United States pulls out of Afghanistan (with a bargain from the  Taliban) it should go down as a great achievement.
The President should be praised for this achievement.

Steve’s Barking;Would NATO be stronger without the US?

Let’s face, when it comes to Europe and the United States things aren’t going very well.
Every so often the President of the United States threatens to leave NATO.
Would that be a good thing for Europe? Wouldn’t they spend more of their own money? Would they thenbuy less hardware from the United States and spend more on themselves.
Would they then be on less of a guilt trip from the U.S.?
The big question is would Europe be a safer place or would a clash of NATO nations and Russia be more likely?
