Steve's barking at something's don't change with time

The other day I was home watching a sit com Barney Miller from 1979.
One of the prisoners was complaining about those people who get food stamps and the rich who have there damn tax breaks. What's the middle class suppose to do?

What we have here is middle class envy, of the cookie by the cream (or what ever that filling is) in an Oreo.
I for one don't envy the rich, too many of them sound paranoid. As far as those on food stamps 99 present of them are poorer then church mice.
