Steve's barking; Government isn't concerned about middle class jobs

Every time I hear an elected official talk about the dwindling middle class, then out of the other side of his or her mouth say that we have got to cut government spending, not hiring new workers and not paying them a living wage. Let's face government work is a major way getting into the middle class, especially for minorities.
