Steve's barking; It's not how much you spend on the military it's how you spend the money

It's silly season in the United States. It's been silly season since January when the presidential politics started.
The book big thing that those running for office blabbering on about is money spent on the military.
Let me get my nickels worth in, we can spend 10 times what the next country spends, but it's the quality of what you buy that really counts. If you're spending your money on high price kitchen help were in n the old days it was done by the ordinary soldiers ( we used to call it KP).
If we spend billions on aircraft that doesn't work. It doesn't doesn't matter how much you spend, especially if your enemy who is spending less has better equipment because the adversary has to be.

I almost forgot, the cost of all countries are cheaper to make weapons and the pay is lower, so yes the adversary might just have a monetary advantage.

Is military procurement a Republican works program? Sometimes I wonder.
