Steve’s Barking; International Business

In the 21st century it appears that businesses aren’t located in one country.
German companies own American companies.
American companies own Mexican companies.
And China companies own companies that one would assume are owned in Europe
and the same is true with America.
Now it comes to the point that companies might become more important than nation states when it comes to the economy of the world (I seem to recall some s science fiction movies that predicted something like that).
Because of the possibility of companies taking over the importance of economies in the near future perhaps nation states should charge fees instead of using taxes to collect revenue.
