It has come to my attention that there are people who had a moratorium on paying rent because of COVID-19 and they saved that money and bought homes π in Southern States were the houses are cheaper. Just think if a person or family was paying $ 3,000 for a crummy apartment in NYC and you can buy a nice house in say South Carolina for $300,000 that money $3,000 you didn’t give to the landlord would be a 10% down payment after 10 months. Well you can get a real nice house in Fla and Texas, for less then 300,000 dollars, and you can work Friday from your house π . And just think some some apartments in NYC go for 4 to 5 thousand a month, a real nice down payment and think π€ of all the money π΅ saved on lower taxes, and even if a person doesn’t make New York income you can still afford the house in the Southern States using the landlords money π° from NYC apartments.
