The United States pulled out of Afghanistan. Was it a loss, was it a win , or was it a draw.
If the US or it’s allies is not attacked and it’s not a safe haven from terrorist it’s a win.
If we are attacked by Al-Qaeda types and it’s a safe haven for terrorist it a major loss.
It can be seen as a draw if the Taliban stays in control of the country and there are no terrorist attacks from Afghanistan.
It’s a loss to women, it’s a loss to democracy, it’s a loss to American prestige, but those things are not why we went to Afghanistan. The reason was to wipe out Al-Qaeda and make America a safer place.
How the US conducted the “war” is an object lesson on what not to do. We should have been more aggressive with men living in the field. We should have been more aggressive in training especially with those who would have great losses ( women) that they would fight like tigers for their way of life and life it’s self depended on it.
* We don’t know if it was a win, loss or draw and we will not know for quite some time.
