Oh my goodness, is it possible that in the near future that there will be very few true combatants. Right now we’re using drones to do what airplanes used to do. We’re using smart rockets more and more. I can see that soon we’ll be using smart tanks and smart artillery driven by robots who have operators far from the battle field making human soldiers on the battle so endangered that they will become obsolete. Unfortunately you can’t make civilians in the war zone obsolete and they will take the brunt of war with many casualties.
