Steve’s Barking; Is the U.S. afraid 😱 of competition?

 Is the U.S. afraid 😱 of competition. Out side of Tariffs being an illegal tax ( because the constitution says taxes should be proposed by congress not the president) it is also a form of protectionism. The problem with that in this we have either no factories or factories that are so old that they cannot produce the things in adequate amounts and Adequate quality. The United States 🇺🇸 didn’t keep its factories 🏭 modernize. The fact of the matter with robotics and shipping the United States manufacturing could probably produce goods that are just as cheep as the Cheapest manufacturing goods from other countries. The problem with tariffs is that they would make goods From other countries, more expensive, making goods from the United States more expensive, not better. I’m a firm believer. That competition makes things better because it forces manufacturers to think and produce better.
