Oh darn, hidden history.
When one talks about the slave trade, they talk about Europeans, they may talk about Muslims, but who talks about the various tribes of Africa who were involved in capturing of those from other tribes from Africa.
When they talk about the white Europeans pushing out “ native Americans” no one talks about the various tribes at war with each other and making alliances with the Europeans.
When the talk of the Jews of Israel being pushed out of Israel by various nations, no one mentions the civil war that the Jews of Israel were having.
Speaking of Jews, they were kicked out of various European nations, why did they come back to places like France, England and Germany.
Maybe this old blogger is calling this wrong by saying hidden history, maybe it should be called something different or maybe not.
I’m also sure that I didn’t mention thousands of other things that most historians don’t mention or gloss over that may seem unimportant but would give a truer story.
