Steve’s Barking; If you don’t vote, you deserve what you get - baloney

 I’ve been told time and time again, if you don’t vote you get what you deserve.  Naaa,… I deserve people who listen to me. I deserve people who are positive. I deserve people who have the ability to reason and make the best decisions on reasoning. I deserve people who make the rules not to spend a small fortune to be able to rule me. I deserve people who don’t stick their fingers in the air to see which way the wind is blowing ( like the last 2 presidents). 

Are we encouraging the best and the brightest?

Many of my neighbors are discouraged by many of the politicians who are elected.

 I remember the late talk show host Jack Paar say why he didn’t vote, it only encourages them.
