Just what is a Democratic Socialist?
First of all what is a socialist?
I’m pretty sure that socialist are not communists just as I’m pretty sure that conservatives aren’t Fascist..
It’s so easy to label one as some degenerate dog or what ever rock your boat to make somebody or groups of some bodies look evil or dumb.
The reason I’m asking this question is I just happen to go to a town hall meeting several years back and the speaker who was a member of the Democratic Socialist ( AOC) was interrupted by some one in the audience who shouted at her your not a true socialist and started screaming at her his grievances that made her not a socialist.
Now if I’m not mistaken in Europe there are several counties that have several political parties that claim to be Socialist and each has a slightly or not so slightly different agenda.
Let’s not forget that the Nazis we’re a nationalist socialist party that we later called fascist ( after Mussolini’s Italian party I presume)
Sooo getting back to my original question what is a Democratic Socialist?
