There seems to be an idea that the President of United States wants to send troops and to Venezuela and Nigeria. In Venezuela, he’s complaining about fentanyl and in Nigeria he’s complaining about Muslim attacking Christians and he wants to send troops to protect them. I remember in the good old days a lot of times the good old USA would not send our regular forces in, but would send mercenaries or what we would call soldiers of Fortune. I’m not so sure sending forces from me US military is a good idea. Let’s get back to hiring mercenaries or soldiers of Fortune as I call them because it might be a good idea not to get our hands dirty, and have a regular marines or soldiers get killed, named or captured. As I recall, sometimes soldiers of fortune do a better job than the regular armed forces. And even in Russia, didn’t the Wagner group do a better job than their regular forces in places like Syria and protecting their interests in Africa.

The president didn’t ask congress ( nor do I think he will) for military intervention as I do recall that operation Iraqi freedom Bush got permission from congress. The same is true in Afghanistan.. Ah some people just don’t like to do the right and legal thing.
