Steve's barking getting a raise with no more money

There is a movement going on that the only way workers can get a raise is if they cover the cost of the raise by having give backs. Think that what ever new money a person gets will be taken away by paying more for their health insurance and or pension so that the worker gets no more take home pay
Why should any worker except a contract with no more money, ,especially with the price of goods and services going up.
It's even possible for workers to pay more taxes. Why would any workers except this.
Would a business person except a tax that the business wouldn't make any more money.
