So you think that congress can change, especially when all the incentives are to leave every thing in place or to make things worse. What insentive does one have, to make American democracy democratic, when it's easier to get money to buy your job from those who want you to write laws in that are pointed in favor of them. If the congress person should lose his or her position to some one else who will sell their soul for the job of congress person, and or make more money then they thought possible by working as lobbiest.
Do you really think things will change by the will of the people?
