We the people of the United States should demand Congressional Healthcare Plus for all of Americans.
The congress of the United States gets to chose over one thousand insurance companies. What makes congress persons so special and more privileged then the rest of us citizens.
Congress also can get eye and dental coverage, why can’t the rest of us have the same privilege as congress?
Who made congress people the chosen ones when it comes to healthcare?
**** I keep hearing some politicians pushing Medicare for all. Medicare is the worst devised health care
System. One payed taxes through out their entire working life for hospitalization insurance once they hit 65. Of cause it doesn’t pay for the doctors even know n the hospitals. You have to buy Medicare part B for doctors, but Medicare doesn’t pay it all, so those on Medicare have to buy supplementary insurance and the Medicare patient still had a co pay and if there are several procedures one has to pay co pay for each procedure. Oh the other thing you might have to buy drug insurance and pay co pay on drugs.
***** Congressional healthcare plus should also include subsidies on a sliding scale to those who can’t afford what federal workers pay for their part of healthcare insurance.
***** Now I know that there are some Chicken Littles out there, screaming we can’t afford it.
We’ll let start by saying every ones property tax would go down, .We would no longer have to pay Medicare tax. The general fund would no longer have to pay Medicaid. So the cost to the general fund would go down for healthcare.
(Ideas)
Have a tax on business, with 10% discount on what the average business pays for medical coverage.
Have a 2% tax on ghoul income ( estate tax).
Have a 1/2 a percent tax on stock transfers.
I’m sure one can think of other penny taxes that will make up the differences that will pay for Congressional Healthcare Plus for all and help train new doctors and nurses.
The additional cost is not as high as those fear mongers would have one believe.
Much of the tax cost would be offset by reduction and eliminating other taxes and costs that go into our current healthcare system.
