Steve's barking at Tinkerball economics

Let it be known, I have not come to praise president Obama nor to bury him.
I just believe that his job creating bill is just another form of wishful thinking at best and a future job killer at it's worse.
Lets get real, a company isn't going to hire some one  just because of tax breaks during  a down turn in the economy unless that employer believes that he can make money off the employee or at least keep the firm from losing money.
The need for new infrastructure is right on, but the amount of money that the president  is talking about  like throwing sand into the ocean to keep it at bay. Another unfortunate thing is to get those projects up and running will take over a year with political wrangling to get started building bridges and roads.

Now let me write about the job killer in the presentation.
Taking money away from medicare and medicaid takes money away from workers known as doctors.
They will have a harder time to hire and keep people in their offices.
Taking money away from the sick in the form of higher co-pay and and or forcing them to pay more for medicare part "B" .
Not collecting full social security tax weakens it,hurting future recipients.

The few dollars that the tax relief in the payroll tax is will not help create jobs because it more then made up for discretion increase in bank, cable and phone fees increases among others.


* If we are looking to the future of job creating manufacturing jobs in new green technology we will have to hold our noses and have a form of protectionism for if we don't we're doomed. Doomed I tell you doomed.
